Conditions for cancellation
Temporary deal: The current circumstances ask for flexible conditions for cancellation. With reservations untill the 31st of May 2021 you can cancel for free up to 24 hours before the day of arrival. When you fail to show up on the without cancelling your reservation we will
The following conditions for cancellation apply to reservations up to 7 rooms:
- Free cancellation up to 5 days before arrival
- For no show or cancellations within 5 days before the arrival date, you must pay the complete reservation fee excluding tax and handling fee.
Reservations for Fletcher Stadshotel Den Haag can be cancelled free of charge up to 2 days before the arrival date.
Reservations at Fletcher Hotel Amsterdam and Fletcher Wellness-Hotel Leiden can be cancelled free of charge up to 1 day before the arrival date.
The following conditions for cancellation apply to reservations for 7 to 10 rooms:
- Free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival
- For no show or cancellations within 14 days before the arrival date, you will pay the complete reservation fee excluding tax and handling fee.
Reservations for 10 rooms or more:
You can contact firstname.lastname@example.org for reservations of 10 rooms or more.
Alternative cancellation conditions apply to business reservations.

Changing your booking
In case you wish to change the date of your booking to a new date or destination and the new date or the destination is more expensive compared to the original booking we are obliged to charge you with the difference in cost. The cancellation terms and conditions apply to bookings made through fletcher.nl or our hotel websites. Whenever you did not choose to change the booking yourself you will receive a voucher code for the down payment. These codes can be used as a means of payment on fletcher.nl, or in the hotels and restaurants. Whenever the code still holds value a year after issuing the voucher code you will be able to receive the remaining amount in your bank account.
Fletcher Hotels establishes high priority to health and safety of its guests and employees and takes every precaution necessary to prevent infection and the spreading of Covid-19. With a cancellation insurance you have free cancellation until 1 upon arrival. Not valid for reservations of more than 7 rooms.
Fletcher Hotels offers its guests the possibility to book a hotel room by paying the full reservation costs online or by paying during the check-in at the hotel.
In case you choose to pay during the check-in at Fletcher Hotel Amsterdam your room will be guaranteed until 6 A.M. on the day of arrival. Do you wish to arrive later, please contact the hotel.
The hospitality business is liable to the guest for damage that is the result of a failure by the hospitality business in the fulfilment of the agreement, unless this failure cannot be attributed to the hospitality business or to persons who assisted the hospitality business in the implementation of the agreement.
Notwithstanding, the hospitality business is not liable for damage or loss of items brought into the hospitality business by a guest who is staying there. The guest indemnifies the hospitality business against claims from guests in this regard. The provisions here do not apply insofar as the damage or loss is due to intent or gross negligence on the part of the hospitality business. The hospitality business is not liable for damage caused to or with vehicles owned by guest, except if and insofar as the damage is the direct result of intent or gross negligence on the part of the hospitality business. The hospitality business is not liable for damage that arises directly or indirectly to whomever or whatever as a direct or indirect result of any defect or any capacity or circumstance to, in or on any movable or immovable property of which the hospitality business is the holder, leaseholder, tenant or the owner or that is otherwise at the disposal of the hospitality business, except if and insofar as the damage is the direct result of intent or gross negligence on the part of the hospitality business. The liability of the hospitality business is limited to the amount that can reasonably be insured. If damage occurs to items placed in custody for which a fee is charged, the hospitality business is obliged to compensate the damage to these items as a result of damage or loss. Compensation is not due for other items present in the items issued. If the hospitality business receives items or if items are deposited, stored and/or left behind in any way whatsoever by anyone without the hospitality business requiring any compensation, then the hospitality business is not liable for damage to or in connection to those items in any way whatsoever, unless the hospitality business has deliberately caused this damage, or the damage is the result of intent or gross negligence on the part of the hospitality business. In all cases, the hospitality business cannot be held to pay compensation for damage to items present in items that are deposited, stored or left behind, regardless of whether the hospitality business asks any compensation for this.
The guest and those accompanying him are jointly and severally liable for all damage incurred and/or all damage that will arise to the hospitality business and/or any third party as a direct or indirect result of an attributable shortcoming and/or wrongful act, including violation of the house rules, committed by the customer and/or the guest and/or those accompanying him, as well as for all damage caused by any animal and/or any property they hold or that is under their supervision.

By making a reservation, guests declare to agree to the contents of these General Terms and Conditions.

The hotel classification applied by Fletcher Hotels is entirely based on the old Dutch Hotel Classification (NHC).
